Richard LaBrie

A dimwitted thug encounters a strung-out, suicidal young woman and an unlikely relationship develops as they work together to make a break for new horizons.

Bernard "Bern" Lemly is fed up with being in a wheelchair and wants more out of life. Meanwhile, former football player Tony "Ole" Olezniak is stewing after recently losing his sight. The men soon realize they can put their frustrated energy to good use by competing in a whitewater rafting race on Oregon's Rouge River. In the process, they discover their disabilities don't have to destroy their dreams.

Presents a drama about Alabaster, a boy who is living a dull life in a dreary town. He wants to leave and seek his fortune, but his girlfriend is afraid to leave home

Joe has been wasting his life writing an unpublished, voluminous book about the ills of modern society. His wife, Annie, is fed up and leaves him.
