Tito Junco

A squad of young Cuban armed forces recruits are tasked with defending a strategic key north of Cuba. The fraught relationships between the young soldiers and the sergeant who leads them transform as they discover his human qualities during training and learn discipline in the harsh conditions of their post.

The plot is situated in Cuba during the early '50s, before the cuban revolution. A prostitute gets in love with a boxer to whom she devotes her life. As the boxer progresses in his career, he gets money and women. The prostitute tries everything to keep him meanwhile her tortured soul sinks deeper and deeper.

A group of Italian people go to Cuba, for various different reasons. One of them would like to remake Vittorio De Sica's The Bicycle Thief. But it won't be easy.
