A high school senior and her mother navigate cultural barriers during their nightly routine of watching TV. As college dreams clash with familial expectations, unspoken tensions rise, and music becomes the language of their hidden desires and unexpressed love.

An ambitious high school student’s obsession with winning the student council election spirals out of control when a classmate unexpectedly enters the race.

In class, Julia quietly admires Riley from a distance. Their first awkward interaction leads to a friendship as they walk home together after school. Over time, their connection deepens, and Riley invites Julia to the upcoming homecoming dance. After meeting up at Riley's house, Julia and Riley arrive at homecoming, a scene of sparkling lights and dancing couples. Everything is perfect. But as the night wears on, Julia's dream starts to crack, slowly revealing the blood-stained truth: she is dancing with a dead body.
