Refusing to die in the hospital, an old man gets on his scooter and heads to the mountain where, as a child, his grandfather used to take him to look for fossils. Reluctantly, his son sets off in pursuit.

Pauline is a young aspiring photographer, who will do anything for success. For an upcoming contest about the fear of dying, she gets together with her childhood friend. Their friendship is put to the test, when one's phobia becomes the opportunity of the other.
