Yuri Grigoriev

A group Russian soldiers is send to an outpost to guard the area. They pass the day patroulling the area, while being shot at from the forest. They never know if the civillions are hostile or friendly to them.

A WWII veteran, Apollon Golub, arrives in town in an old car. The car attracts the attention of teenager Valerka Elkin, which has grown into a real friendship between him, the veteran and, of course, the car.

The Civil War. A foster home teacher is delivering grain for the starving children. Her accidental co-travelers are Chekist Gorbach, sailor Sasha, and stationmaster Zaytsev, who came into possession of three gold nuggets. And around them are the Reds, the Whites and the bandits.
