In a retro-futuristic, tropical-punk twist on Dante’s Inferno, a group of misfits converges at Babel, a legendary dive bar that doubles as purgatory, where La Flaca—the city’s Grim Reaper—presides. Here, souls gamble years of their lives with her, daring to outwit Death Herself.

Milena and her companions have acquired good taste for classic films by working in an independent movie theater; as always, after closing, they take the place to celebrate another clandestine Tuesday. When the owner of the cinema, a dedicated film buff, discovers them using the room without his permission, Milena will try to save her job and that of her colleagues by showing him that, despite their very different lives, they are united by the same passion for cinema.
