Garip Bülbül is about the life story of the great bard Neşet Ertaş. Neşet Ertaş, who signed 400 records and many cassettes throughout his life, wrote many poems under the pen name "Garip". The film tells the unknowns about both the private and career life of Neşet Ertaş, who passed away in 2012.

In 1978, five leftist youths who believed that the leftist revolution could be realized through politics, not violence, gathered in a house and started to talk about the magazine they had published. The unexpected events that take place later that night reveal the political chaos in Turkey before the 1980 coup d'état.

It follows a man as he gets an epiphany in a repair shop and ends up becoming a mechanic's apprentice.

Hasan returns to his hometown as a young teacher after years in Diyarbakır. An anonymous letter he receives at school pushes him to seek the truth to defend someone wronged. While facing personal dilemmas and societal pressures, he forms an emotional bond with his family’s old, abandoned house, as the lines between right and wrong begin to blur.

Not wanting his players to find out what has happened, Şenol Başkan buys a caravan, inspired by the release of the mobile version of Zula, which won last year's big tournament, and tells his team that they are switching to a "mobile gaming concept." Şenol Başkan announces the caravan he has brought to the neighborhood's soccer field as the club's new headquarters and forces his team to train there. The team, which needs to camp to prepare for the tournament, reaches the brink of disbanding when the caravan cannot provide the necessary environment. Şenol Başkan must act swiftly to prevent his team from disbanding.
