Midya fights for her life in a deadly game of musical chairs. But what is she fighting for? And is the reward worth the cost?

Agnes and Boris flee their responsibilities through their screens, ever present in their lives. They are forced to face with their deep anxieties when their apartment suffers a power failure.

Through old letters, Merle revisits her past as an anti-Apartheid activist, which fractured her relationship with her mother forever. At the same time, she faces her privilege in today's South Africa and her own relationship with her daughter.
