When a righteous newspaper editor Leishemba gets kidnapped and murdered by a corrupt politician to cover his scandal, his younger brother Ningthem who is about to become an IAS officer sets out to seek revenge.

A classic Manipuri comedy-drama that delves into the intricacies of Manipur’s political landscape, the film follows the titular character Dolansana (Sougrakpam Hemanta), a Minister of Manipur government opposite Samuma (Huirem Seema) as he navigates poignant realities of political life with an iconic display of comedy while also caring for his family that includes their disabled child.

Ngaihak Lambida (English: Along The Way) is a 2006 non-feature Manipuri film directed by Haobam Paban Kumar and based on a story by MK Binodini. It is bproduced by Satyajit Ray Film and Television Institute. The film was selected in the non-feature section of the Indian Panorama at the 38th International Film Festival of India 2007. It also participated in the competition section of Short Fiction Films in the Third Eye 6th Asian Film Festival, Mumbai, 2007.

Khongchat (meaning "journey" in Manipuri) chronicles the life of a simple village dweller guy named Ta Tomba (Olen) who for the first time goes to Imphal city. He comes across and tries to adapt to many new things there most importantly the city people who try to take advantage of his innocence. After he lands a job as a helper in a family, Tomba not only faces the harsh class disparity but also loses his love interest.

Mamado Leisabido Angaobido (English: The Mother The Maiden The Mad Lady) is a 2010 Manipuri film directed by Romi Meitei and produced by Jenny Khurai, under the banner of Ima Sana Chingjroibi Films. It stars Kamala Saikhom and Gokul Athokpam in the lead roles. It is based on Khaidem Pramodini's play of the same title
