Maria Gomes Andrade

This is the story of a woman who fell in love and was betrayed. Her beloved was successful at the expense of a song that stole from her, while she was forced to fight for survival, far from her homeland. It is also the story of a girl forced to mature quickly, to raise her daughter, without knowing that, after all, it was not her daughter she was raising...

Luíza Albuquerque sees her life collapse after her daughter runs away from the altar. Shortly after, in an increasingly stifling relationship, she receives a fatal sentence: she has only one year to live, and no amount of money in the world, which she has accumulated – not always in the best way – will be able to save her. Faced with this revelation, she decides to be happy in the short time she has left, even if it means ruining the lives of her sisters and her own daughter.
