Bünyamin Musullu

Niko drifts aimlessly through everyday life without paying attention to social rules.

Shopping, laundry, adult conversations: 10-year-old Promise doesn't often get the chance to be a child. He lives with his mother, siblings and many other refugees in a hotel in Cologne. With a camera, the boy wanders through the corridors and rooms and takes a picture of this bizarre new world.

At a rest stop in the middle of nowhere, Bernd waits in his rickety Volvo for a group of passengers he is to take to Paris. One by one they arrive: Shy Julian, grumpy Zlatko, chaotic Marie. And... who else? Only one thing is clear: one more is coming.

On the morning of the hen party, four women who don't know each other meet for breakfast to wait for their mutual friend, the bride. When she shows up, a day full of advances and suppressed inner conflicts begins - after all, it's time to celebrate!
