The series is about a cruise ship that travels to places around the world.

A team of teenagers with attitude are recruited to save Angel Grove from the evil witch, Rita Repulsa, and later, Lord Zedd, Emperor of all he sees, and their horde of monsters.

When self-destructive Vivian discovers the cliffside property she’s inherited is a known suicide site, she is tasked with becoming its reluctant guardian, rescuing lost souls on the verge.

When King of high school and all-around-party animal Nikau is outed, we witness his social downfall, from cool guy to complete outcast. Forced to find a new group of friends, each of whom has been ‘othered’ by smalltown New Zealand, he finds escape in a whole new world of possibilities: the internet.
