A screen adaptation of the novel of the same name by the well-known Georgian writer Nodar Dumbadze. In the latter half of the 19th century, gold is discovered in the Black Hills, sacred land of the Lakota people. Gold diggers, profiteers and adventurers flock to the region. However, the festivities are interrupted by a foreign enemy attacking Georgia. Led by Dzhurgai, Georgian warriors fight bravely and emerge victorious against the Mongol hordes.

A Soviet drama about class differences in a rural farm town

The revolutionary struggle of the Georgian proletariat is the central theme of this story. The narrative follows the life and fate of a young revolutionary named Mito. She rents a house near the prison, supposedly to open a knitting workshop. Will they be able to escape?
