NROn an odyssey along the dusty roads of the Brazilian states of Piauí and Maranhão, the forró band Babaçu Love, managed by Tetéu (Lailtinho), faces the challenges of performing on makeshift stages in small towns across Northeastern Brazil. With the slogan, "The passion that burns in your heart," the story follows Diloura (Amanda Odillon), her mother Paraibana (Gisele Vasconcelos), and the kind-hearted Araújo (Alisson Emanoel). Diloura is seduced by the promises of her unscrupulous boyfriend, Ransquelson Ruschel (Whindersson Nunes), who convinces her to leave Babaçu Love and join the band Quiabo com Maxixe, managed by the swindler Capa Rato (Mano Silva). Meanwhile, Paraibana leads the struggle of the babaçu coconut breakers for fair labor rights, equality, and environmental preservation.
