A shifty fortune teller's routine night takes a dark turn when an unexpected client arrives.

It's 1929. Antonio immigrates from Italy to become a success as an artist in America. Mary leaves Ireland to make a better life for her child. Their paths cross again and again as their dreams are crushed. It will take the next generation to make it in America.

A calculated stalker poses as a facility inspector and infiltrates a university to close in on his prey.

Before follows a group of not-yet-humans in an eerie and exhausting waiting room. Like an eternal DMV visit, every visitor in this room has waited for thousands of years for their number to be called to be assigned a life on Earth. Some are anxious, some are hopeful, and others are defeated by impatience before their earthly lives have even begun.
