Yasmine Delawari (born Yasmine Z. Delawari, 27 September 1972 in Los Angeles, California) – Afghan-American actress and producer, daughter of Afghan immigrants. The first Afghan-American Rose Queen (1990, representing La Cañada Flintridge), she earned a degree in Political Science from UCLA before training at Circle in the Square in New York. She made her acting debut at age 13 in The Children of Times Square (1986), then had a 15-year hiatus before resuming her career in 2002.
