Thousands of pages of a handwritten diary, through dramatized documentary scenes, portray the personal life of Virgilije Nevjestić, a painter and graphic artist who was born in Tomislavgrad, Bosnia and Herzegovina, and who has been declared the best graphic artist of the 20th century by the French Academy of Sciences and Arts. He exhibited in all the prestigious museums and galleries of the world.

In a world of ever-deepening divisions, Medjugorje endures as an isolated island of universal togetherness. This film speaking not through words but through images, explores a phenomenon that for more than four decades has continued to draw millions of people into the heart of the Herzegovinian karst. Each year, on the anniversary day, this place become a global stage where hundreds of thousands of believers break down linguistic and cultural barriers. From the first rays of sunrise until late into the night, the space resonates with a polyphony of prayers in dozens of world languages.

The March came, with him came the birds, the sun, the first petals of flowers, the buds on the trees... but also, the people were gone from the streets, from the squares. Overnight, there are empty cafes, shops, shopping malls, churches, mosques, classrooms, stations, railways, roads ... There was silence and silence that sometimes breaks the birdsong, the barking of dogs, the buzzing of flies and the sound of ambulances!
