Black Magic is a traumedy that follows Alicia, a Black screenwriter, as she navigates her new staff writer position on a network drama. When she realizes that she’s nothing more than a fellowship diversity hire, Alicia tries to prove her worth to a room that must write in a "diverse" character to save their show. The character quickly devolves into little more than a trope, forcing Alicia to either compromise her hard-earned dream job or play nice with her colleagues and compromise herself. When she chooses the latter, she unwittingly embodies the character they’ve created.

A grandmother, mother, and daughter quarantine together in a Tribeca apartment as they laugh about life over wine.

A long-haul trucker turns to YouTube to combat loneliness and social isolation. Under the handle “MsDivaTrucker43,” she discovers a supportive community of women who share her struggles of life in the margins. It is difficult for women in an industry that is 96% male to see themselves succeeding. Tamara's words of wisdom and encouragement offer women a model and a path forward.

Eleven-year-old Katie and her dad reconnect after many years apart, with the help of a mermaid they meet in the San Marcos River. A Texas Mermaid Movie is a look at processing loss and change through creative play.

OUR BODY ELECTRIC follows the journeys of three athletes, Ariel, Amanda, and Chelsea, from the off-season to the Ms. Olympia stage. Delving into themes of strength, resilience, and self-discovery, the film sheds light on the challenges of achieving success as women in the world of bodybuilding.
