A film about three sisters who have reached different turning points in their lives. Liis, who has just graduated from high school, discovers that the future planned with her boyfriend is not so certain. Elder sister Karin, the first victim of her parents' expectations, tries to cope in today's sexist business environment. Jane, the youngest of the sisters, tries to resist the pressure of her party animal friend to prove herself as someone who she is not. During one fateful night, secrets and feelings that none of them wanted to admit to themselves before are revealed.

A young adult feels driven to change the world because it seems both possible and necessary. Does that come from naivety, lack of experience, ambition—or all three? Or is change truly possible? Why try? Even if the answer is unclear, the impulse itself is real and often turns into action before it’s fully understood.

On New Year’s morning, Sharunas wakes up next to the charming guy Martin, while his girlfriend Iveta is in the shower. Sharunas can’t help but wonder if things will ever be the same again. Meantime, Martin wishes him a Happy Next Year.

The film tells the story of the last Estonian family, who did not want to eat potatoes despite their hunger. The father takes it upon himself to solve the problem and before long the dining table is full again. But at what price and for how long?
