Returning to her hometown, Masha meets Pasha, whom she hasn't seen for many years. Together they overcome the death of a beloved one thus coming closer to each other. But their lives, full of dreams and losses, are rather different and drive them apart again and again. Each meeting brings back the old spark, but neither can decide to anything more. Through trauma and failure,they mature, learn to love, and try to figure out who they are to each other.

September, 1941. In a turn of events, young lovebirds Kostya and Nastya find themselves on board a barge that will evacuate people from the sieged Leningrad. At night the barge gets into the storm. When it starts sinking, enemy planes — but not rescuers — were the first to arrive at the scene.

Slob Seryoga, who is interested in nothing but cars and dubstep, works in a pawn shop. One day, he decides to give a girl, Zheka, a ride home from the bus stop and immediately falls in love with her. However, the guys from the neighborhood consider her "unworthy", and Zheka herself, despite her initial favor, behaves strangely, and she has a good reason for this.

Dasha, Zhenya and Vassa are friends. It’s Zhenya’s birthday, and they are preparing to celebrate it, but on this day Vassa’s boyfriend leaves him. The girls will have to forget about the holiday and help their close friend survive her grief.
