Twelve-year-old Tommy reluctantly moves with his father from the big city to a small Lapp village - the childhood home of his mother, who has recently died. The village is close to the northernmost wildlife reserve in the world, where Tommy's father will be working on a project to release a captive lynx into the wild. The boy gradually falls under the spell of his new surroundings, and discovers that his mother was involved in protecting the local lynx, and, when his father's project fails, and the lynx is about to be sold, he decides to set it free himself. A dramatic series of events ensues, and Tommy, through his brave actions, regains the trust and respect of his family and the village.

Guitarist Tony has drunk himself to poverty when a message reaches him: after years of sobriety, singer Katarina has relapsed and is in dire straits. Tony gets a visit from Katarina's distant daughter Ellie. She's looking for answers to questions about her family - in exchange for the key to the band's comeback. Wanting to reclaim their fame and money, Tony and bassist Pete set out on an adventure - determined to bring No Love Lost back.

Konsta has just been released from prison and has returned to his people in the countryside. Past grudges drive him back into the drug business, despite the efforts of those around him to keep him on the right track. In the end, Konsta is forced to confront his past in a surprising way and makes a decision that will determine the rest of his life.
