Yoshiko is an actress working on an indie film while living with her elderly father. In her latest role, she plays the wife of an eccentric man running for local political office, a fictional situation that gradually begins to overlap with the circumstances of her own everyday existence. As she moves between the demands of the film set and her domestic responsibilities, the distinction between performance and reality becomes increasingly uncertain.

In a city where unmarried people are drafted to solve the declining birthrate, 44-year-old unmarried Yoshiko tries to find a marriage partner in order to escape from recruitment.

Tanaka is a young man who works in a scrapyard. He falls for his colleague Yoshiko, but she's trapped in a violent relationship with a small-time gangster.

The huge asteroid which hurtled close to the Earth in 2013 continued its unpredictable flight path. A man had been incapable of making love to his wife for years. Will we, who have been sapped of all confidence, be able to rise to the occasion again? Stronger, harder, facing the heavens...

Komono-cho, a town located in Mie Prefecture surrounded by abundant nature such as Yunoyama Onsen.
