When a local girl goes missing, a woman is forced to face the demons from her traumatic childhood.

It's the day after Wil's funeral and his three best friends have woken up with brutal hangovers and one less person — Wil — well his ashes that is. Over the series, Jules, Sami and Bo retrace their steps to find their friend's ashes and give him the send off he deserved.

Unable to tap into his emotions on stage, a middle-aged struggling actor is given one last chance to prove himself, and in turn, takes a class with an acting coach who promises to transform his performance.

Audrey, 42, a devoted single mum, opens a record store in a new town, seeking a better future for her spirited 14-year-old daughter Deanna, while Vince, early 40s, a former rockstar, boozer, and record collector, reluctantly takes a job as a piano teacher, with Deanna his only pupil.
