Two men spend a day of vacation by a lake. They accompany their peregrination with formulae and commercial promises taken from a marabout's pamphlet, bathe, navigate, banter, dredge, steal a little money, buy souvenirs, challenge gravity and, by force of circumstance, find themselves in the skin of The Ambassadors by Hans Holbein Young person.

A successful young man finds by chance a handgun left in the street. He chooses to keep it. He soon falls under the weapon's attraction and quickly realizes that the gun literally sticks to his hand, appearing against his will at the most surprising moments.
