Suduria, the head of his village and part of the influential landlord class, falls in love with Nidhi, a low-caste untouchable.

The story is about Lord Jagannath's existence at Nila Parvata in the form of Nilamadhav.

Nandika is childless after 8 years of marriage to Sunanda and she persuades him to remarry. Sunanda and second wife Lalita move to the city and Nandika finds she is pregnant and follows them.

Anuaradha and her brother save a man, Debabrata, washed ashore from the sea. Anuaradha and Debabrata fall in love and get married, but Anuaradha's feelings change when she finds that Debabrata is widower and has a son.
