Axed is an Australian 'backyard' zombie epic that throws back to the grit of the late 1970's. Alone with his Axe, Bruce must slip and slide through the blood, the guts, the infected and a rag tag army militia that are hell bent on cleansing the town of all life. Then the dead start coming back to life.

We follow fictional character Detective Lacey on her travels to investigate aspects of female sexuality including women buying sex and Rent-A-Dreads. Lacey returns at the beginning of the film and reflects retrospectively on her journey.

A day in the life of Jane Grey, a struggling Black actress living in London's hard, beautiful city, grappling with unemployment. Her affair with a married man in flames, she slips unnoticed down between the cracks in the pavement.
