At a provincial film festival, a young director who unexpectedly wins the top prize spends one absurd night with his friends. While everyone around him is discussing the award, drinking, falling in love, arguing about the coolness of the Husky, waking up the plane, the main character gradually understands that the real value of this night is not the victory or the movie, but random intimacy with a person.

One winter day and one night in the lives of thirty-year-old friends, former classmates. They must overcome everyday difficulties to meet and see off Sasha, who is leaving Moscow for an extended period.

Ksenia is an exemplary wife and mother. She obeys her greedy and ungrateful husband in everything, who takes Ksenia's reverence for granted. After learning about her husband's infidelity, Ksenia accidentally kills him during sex. Now the housewife has to hide the body, cover her tracks so as not to go to prison and leave the children orphaned, as well as find a way to make a living, because Ksenia does not have her own money, and she cannot use her husband's accounts without his presence.

In pursuit of the dream of finding their place in modern Moscow, the heroes of the film are desperately trying to become the best version of themselves. At the beginning of autumn, their lives will intertwine, and before the first snow, each of them will have to learn to be themselves.
