4.2Two bored Montreal housewives (Monique Mercure & Louise Turcot), with inattentive husbands (Marcel Sabourin & Donald Pilon), and lots of time on their hands, amuse themselves by paying the local tradesmen something extra to give them amorous attention. Their entertainment leads to frantic confusion, however, when one of the visiting gentlemen - shall we say - 'expires'. The housewives deal with their unpleasant situation quite energetically.
Two Women In Gold
1970
NRThis experimental short film deals with anguish, as imagined by Claude Péloquin, author, poet, performer and filmmaker, in the early 1970s. Vertiginous camera angles, oppressive places and a disturbing soundtrack, the filmmaker uses his sound environment and the words of the interpreter Josée Vanasse to express this generalized disease at a time of great acceleration and fury for life.
