Bok-ja Kim

This is a promotional film for the police, in which an investigator calls on a priest to appoint a lawyer to free innocent Seo Yeon, who is accused of killing her smuggling husband, from custody.

During the country's occupation Choi was only allowed to make Japan-friendly films, but the plot of Hurrah! For Freedom is distinctly different, telling the story of a Korean resistance fighter in 1945.
