Agent Lam (Tony Leung) sets out to track a pair of plates used to make fake American dollars. Upon his release from prison, Hyuk turns away his girlfriend Mina who has come to greet him. He admonishes her to forget about him. He finds a job at a pool hall but it seems trouble follows Hyuk around. He gets in the middle of a gang fight and ends up saving gang leader Ju-cheol. As a token of gratitude, Ju-cheol gives a slice of his own territory to Hyuk. Kyung-suk, Ju-cheol's right hand man, becomes threatened by Hyuk and so challenges him to a fight. The loser has to leave the area for good. Kyung-suk ends up losing the fight and he takes off for Tae-baek, a mountainous city. There, he becomes a faithful member of Kang-ho's gang and kidnaps Hyuk's former martial arts master. Ju-cheol asks Hyuk to help the martial arts master who also happens to be his friend. Hyuk returns to his hometown of Tae-baek only to find that Kyung-suk has kidnapped his old flame Mina. Hyuk, vowing vengeance, goes underground to find and rescue the two most important people in his life.

"Sunday Seoul" is a film with three nonsensical episodes: THE WEREWOLF: A high school student Do-yeon who is the victim of bullying in school, is the main character of the first episode. He is not good at studying or at fighting. One day, an unexpected change happens to his body. THE VISITOR: On a pitch-black stormy night, a woman is visited by a stranger seeking shelter. The stranger eventually, is revealed as a serial killer on the run. THE YOUNG ADVENTURER: Seeking revenge for his father, a son embarks on a journey in which he encounters a young girl by chance and starts to learn martial arts.

Tae-soo tries to steal from a gang. The gang catches Tae-Soo's brother, Tae-Jin, instead. The incident causes the brothers to separate. Tae-Soo becomes a mob fixer and an assassin. Tae-Jin becomes a police detective. When a call brings the brothers together, they get ready for brotherly bonding, but Tae-Jin gets killed. Tae-Soo decides to get revenge on his brother's killer.

The story involves four friends who become gangsters. As the film progresses they gain power and eventually find their way to Seoul. Being well-known as tough guys, Audie, Haetae, Lecaf and Gak Granger are high school classmates who took a pledge of brotherhood. Lecaf who is good at studying goes to Seoul right after the high school graduation, while his "brothers" gradually build up their power in the gang and get a chance to go to Seoul.

Miss Jin, a female detective, meets the head of a human trafficking organization in an undercover plan to destroy it. But she falls into their trap and gets caught. Jin's younger brother and two young men who both have unrequited love for Jin try to save her, but they fail due to the appearance of The Twin Light Brothersrothers. However, Detective Kim defeats The Twin Light Brothers and rescues Jin from the villain's lair.
