Cecilia Marani

She is an actress, screenwriter, and social media content creator. She began her acting training in 1997 under instructors such as Julio Chávez, Andrea Garrote, Paula Grinszpan, Hugo Urquijo, Lili Popovich, Luz Palazón, and Mariano González (Sportivo Teatral), among others. She also took courses in playwriting, professional voice-over, vocal training, stand-up comedy, and clowning. In 2015, she was selected to join CAST (Telefe’s Artistic Talent Selection Center). She co-starred in the feature films "Palestra" (Best Film Award at the 2025 Gijón International Film Festival/FICX), "Estertor" (Distribution Award at the 2022 Gijón International Film Festival/FICX), and "Los bobos" (Best Film Award at the 2025 Gijón International Film Festival/FICX). She is also part of the cast of "Prince"—a feature film directed by Federico Borgia and produced by Pucará Cine, Werner Cine, and Montelona—which is currently in post-production. She won the Best Actress award at the Rojo Sangre Festival for her role in the short film "La presentación," directed by Nicolás Schujman. In 2017, she received support from the Buenos Aires Young Art Biennial for her web series project "Protagonistas," on which she worked as both a screenwriter and an actress. She has appeared in various stage productions and has worked as a radio host and columnist for stations such as Radio Rivadavia, Radio Uno, Luzu, Radio a la Calle, and Radio Güemes.
