Shi Ou

In 1953 the Korean War is entering the final stage. The People's Volunteer Army of China has launched its last major battle in Kumsong. In order to arrive on time and deliver enough ammo to the Kumsong front line, the soldiers have to defend themselves against the never ending bombardments of enemy bombers and race against time to repair the last bridge, all while facing supply shortages and with inferior equipment.

The Fighter is a youth-driven drama blending inspirational sports, intense action, personal growth, and romance—appealing to modern young audiences. Set in the scenic southern town of Sandu, home to the Shui ethnic group, the story follows young boxer Pan Jie as he steps back into the ring after a period of hardship. Through his journey of self-discovery and resilience, he rediscovers the true meaning of fighting—not just in the ring, but in life.
