Orazio Guarino

The millennia-old myth and tradition of St. Lucy's fire told through the eyes of teenagers on the shores of the Ionian Sea.

An apocalyptic film is suddenly interrupted by a strange ad. A man in suit and tie appears to deliver a message to the spectators and the director.

Foreclosed to the future, hope is in the past. Foreclosed the space, hope is inside time. We haven't seen each other again. It was not our mouth and nose that were covered with a mask, but our eyes. We couldn't see each other during the pandemic. The mask was on the eyes like that of the protagonist of Chris Marker's film, La Jetée. Perhaps it is from this film that is so important that one could start looking at the world again, try to figure out how much of what we were has been deposited in the filters of memorial.

In the heart of the Peruvian Amazon rainforest, two trees awaken in the night and set out on a spiritual journey, uncovering a past life in which they were two little brothers.

An inconceivable and devastating epidemic spread without apparent remedy, causing two lovers to painfully divide, while the social and political life crumbles all over the world.

Lying on the bed, in a fetal position, a man waits for a call. Check the phone morbidly until the call arrives. This will be the last step towards a definitive fall or finally his chance for rebirth ?
