Ane, a 12-year-old influencer, spends her afternoons playing in the Jamary village, located in the Amazon region. One day, after being challenged by her cousins, Ane ventures into the forest and encounters the Anhangá, a mystical indigenous spirit devoted to protecting the rainforest.

In the near future, the elderly must relocate to remote retirement colonies so that the younger generations can go about their work undisturbed. The 77-year-old Tereza refuses and instead embarks on a life-changing journey through the Amazon.

Ane spends her afternoons playing around the forest with her cousins until she encounters Anhangá, an indigenous spirit that surrounds her community. But when she goes deeper into the forest, Ane is faced with a real haunting.
