This is a movie about the life of Israel's king David.

A collection of dark-humoured vignettes, including tales of a cardinal with a liberal congregation, a motorist and a hitchhiker, mentally challenged tramps, parents contemplating their daughter's participation in a pornographic film, and a conniving husband.

Piera is a young woman who grows up under the parentage of two extremely original overseers: both her mother and father have incestuous relations with her before they are committed to insane asylums. A special connection, between a mother and her daughter, full of sensuality and complicity, has allowed to portray a family full of fears, rather unbalanced, but nevertheless searching infinite love.

In Lebanon, industrialist Hennequin, director of a French oil company, entrusts engineers Jean Domèvre, a Frenchman, and Mokhrir, a Lebanese, with the prospecting of an isolated region granted to him by Countess Athelstane Orloff. Their search remains fruitless until Mokhir reports the discovery of a uranium deposit, but disappears before Jean can identify the location. He goes to the Countess for help in finding Mokhir and surprises her when, due to financial difficulties, she is negotiating her concession with the Englishman Hobson, director of a rival company. Attracted by Jean, the Countess nevertheless gives him her preference and they set off together in search of Mokhir.

The film tells the story of the struggle between Barbaros Hayrettin Pasha and Count Vespasiano. Barbaros Hayrettin Pasha and his fleet engage in battle off the coast of Fondi Castle. They capture Count Reinaldi and his niece, Countess Julia, from the defeated fleet to obtain ransom. Barbaros Hayrettin demands the ransom from Julia's fiancé, Count Vespasyo of Fondi Castle. Julia, who does not want to marry Vespasyo, asks Barbaros to help her. However, Barbaros remains indifferent to this request. In response, Vespasio attacks the island of Midilli, where Barbaros resides, and takes many people captive. A major battle erupts between Vespasio and Barbaros. Countess Julia will await her next encounter with Barbaros.

A hotel porter is left a fortune but after living it up for a while he returns to his old place of work which is in financial difficulties.

Ray, young and destitute, reaches Desert Spring, carrying a case on top of his mule. A gang headed by Brady uses apparently legal means to prevent anyone from trading and exploits all the town's possibilities for itself. Locked behind the walls of a convent are an order of beautiful nuns whose vows force them to forget the pleasures of sexual contact. Crazed with lust and desire many of the nuns pleasure themselves and each other in fear of the Mother Superior. One night a wounded man is found on the grounds of the convent and is brought inside to be healed. He becomes the focus of the young nuns' desires as each one tries to visit this young man.
