Veronica Moonhill

A young woman, Kat, visits her estranged brother in the surreal beauty of Sonoma County. When Kat meets her brother's co-worker Amanda, an odd chemistry unfolds between the three of them. As Kat and Amanda fall for each other, a sense of desperation creeps in and a strange force threatens to upend their reality.

Divided into The People, The Church, and The State, the film tells three stories about our current political crisis: an opioid-addicted man in West Virginia; a conservative church split over same-sex marriage, and a militia in the Inland Empire carrying out Trump's mandate.

In a bid to avoid her debutante ball, a girl teams up with a hyena and hatches a murderous plan for it to go to the party in her place. Based on a story by Leonora Carrington.
