Dedeh Rosmawaty

Anton accidentally stumbles upon a girl being raped. He attempts to intervene, but when the rapist manages to escape, Anton finds himself a fugitive wanted by the police. While on the run, poor visibility and heavy rain cause Anton to crash his car into a truck. At the hospital, he meets a beautiful nurse named Yosi. Although Anton is eventually cleared of the charges and hopes to pursue a romance with Yosi, he discovers that she has become a nun. Following the accident, Yosi has become emotionally withdrawn, while Anton grows increasingly reckless.

A student (Arfandi) is very depressed, for being known as a bastard child or “anak haram”, the original title of Pramoedya Ananta Toer’s story, on which the film is based on. Only one of the teachers (Frans Harahap) is understanding and willing to help.
