Roman Mikhailov

Once upon a time, two fine young men, Vladimir and Anatoly, met on the Moscow highway. They decided to veer off their path to behold the beauties of Russian countryside. There, they encountered two lovely maidens with a white dove in their hands. The girls invited them into their chamber, a wooden manor standing at the forest's edge in a deserted village called Pustoshka, where that very house was the only one left. They set the table and began to wine and dine their gallant guests. But before the young men could even brush off the road dust or take a sip of the magical nectar from their cups, there showed up a grandpa, the master of that house. And he asked the brave fellows to go and help him find a stone…

Underground dancers — Alice, Arseny, Stepan, Timur, Kirill, Lyosha and Kristina — are engaged in free creativity. They dream of getting recognition, but staying true to themselves. One day they get a chance to turn the game around: take part in a big documentary project and a TV show. Everyone will have to answer the question of why they dance — for the sake of popularity or at the call of their hearts.

Aysha is preparing for the wedding, but suddenly learns that her brother Timur has disappeared. In search of her brother, the girl returns to her native village, where she encounters not only her own past, but also a secret hidden in the depths of the forest.

6 October 2025. In the evening the impossible happened. A white horse walked into a prison, looked into the cells, came out into the light.

An actress and theater dancer flies to India to find her mother, who once abandoned her and joined a certain sect. Soon she no longer understands whether what she sees is happening in India or whether it is the scenery inside her native theater. A Russian film crew is coming to Varanasi to shoot an arthouse film. The whole atmosphere of the ancient city encourages us to think about the meaning of what is happening, about the essence of cinema, about values that are usually considered obvious and not discussed. Soon, the filming process begins to collapse, and the film begins to shoot itself. This movie is a parable about the crumbling of the world and correction, about love as the only force capable of healing the world.
