The curious Nora, Simen and Lars decide to start the hunt for the sacred Olav shrine in or around the medieval church Nidaros Dome, which has been gone for hundred of years. But they are not the only ones interested in finding the treasure.

Daniel Jor is a 28-year-old psychiatrist, still living with his mom. He and his friend Ronny have one thing in common, they like searching for metallic objects in the ground. One day they find a jewel with the name "Janne" imprinted. This is the beginning of something big for Daniel. His life will never be the same. He's about to discover a lot of hidden secrets, about himself and others.

Jonas and Emir are members of a criminal gang of 14-15 year-olds in Oslo. Emir has slight brain-damage after being beaten by his father as a 5-year-old, and Jonas' biggest problem is stopping Emir from hitting people on the head. One day, they are offered a job by a gang of drug-dealers: Deliver a packet of heroin to one guy and beat up another. This is the start of a chain of events that sends their lives spiraling out of control.
