At dawn, a cannon shot shatters the plain. Horses gallop across the beaten earth. Eva, 21 years old, wants to join the hunters of the Imperial Guard, a Napoleonic regiment of historical re-enactment reserved for men. In her quest for romanticism, she hides her identity so that she can set foot in the stirrup, braving a 200-year-old ban. In this world of gunpowder and smoke, Eva discovers herself as she has always dreamed: a handsome soldier at the side of a beautiful princess.

An omnibus film made under the creative eye of Radu Jude, with the help of Cătălin Cristuțiu and the support of the Ticino Film Commission, RSI and Majid Foundation. Eleven directors from all over the world worked with the archive material provided by RSI to create their own films, which merged into this collective work that reflects on the meaning of images from the past to give them a new light.

Coline's long-distance lover, Naoto, has been sending weekly recordings of himself from his room in Tokyo in the hopes of making a film together and receiving video responses in return.

Silke, a top-level paracyclisme athlete, is training intensely for the Tokyo Paralympic Games. But in the midst of her preparation, she rekindles her hope to return to the circus ring, where she suffered her injury, with her husband and partner Didier. Torn between her responsibilities as a competitor and her dreams of being an acrobat, Silke will have to make a hard choice.
