Lilas Ikuta

Suzu is a 17-year-old high-school student living in a rural town with her father. Wounded by the loss of her mother at a young age, Suzu one day discovers the massive online world "U" and dives into this alternate reality as her avatar, Belle. Before long, all of U's eyes are fixed on Belle, when, suddenly, a mysterious, dragon-like figure appears before her.

A large spaceship appears over Tokyo three years before the story starts. A one-sided war against the seemingly harmless aliens ensues, sparking controversy and pacifism. Despite this unique and tragic event, high school girls Koyama Kadode and Nakagawa Ouran behave as if nothing has changed. They live their days like they always have. The focus of this story is not the alien invasion, but human nature, dialogue, growing up, and life.

The story centers around the life and friendship of the 689 Trio (songwriter Nakamura Hachidai, lyricist Ei Rokusuke and singer Sakamoto Kyu).

YOASOBI is a "unit that turns novels into music." Their debut song "Racing into the Night," released in November 2019, quickly attracted attention immediately after its release, dominating various domestic distribution charts, and currently has a cumulative total of over 11 billion streams, the first time in history. The legendary Japanese music group's live performance is now turned into a theatrical version which features footages of all the songs performed at the Tokyo Dome finale with exclusive behind the scenes documentary footage .

The Film (stylized in all caps) is the first video album by Japanese duo Yoasobi. It was released through Sony Music Entertainment Japan on March 23, 2022, on Blu-ray exclusively. It consists of the duo's 2021 three concerts: Keep Out Theater, Sing Your World, and Nice to Meet You (day 2); and the enlarged version of the MBS TV's documentary program Jōnetsu Tairiku, starring Yoasobi, broadcast in December 2021. The Film debuted atop both Oricon Blu-ray Disc Chart and Music DVD and Blu-ray Chart, selling 21,000 copies in its first week.
