A young woman marries an older man on a whim; the marriage is not consummated. She falls in love with her husband's son.

Movie divided in three episodes: a methodic man believes he's near his death and starts spending other people's money; to cure his husband's gambling addiction a woman becomes a horse races expert; a dancer and a soprano bother each other until they fall in love.
