More than 50 years back in a stony set of a remote mountainous village somewhere in Tajikistan the lovers called Shams and Mekhri traveled. Mekhri pulled by a transient eclipse broke an oath of marital faithfulness that overnight transformed Sham's existence into a farcical puppet show, leading to a murder of his spouse.

Investigating the murder, a police officer comes across a circus performer who has a plan for a secret cave where, according to rumors, the valuables of Kurbashi Gayib-bek were hidden in the twenties. But it's not so easy to catch up with the criminal, one of the best participants in the horse attraction...

Follows the construction of the Fergana Canal, which employed 170 thousand people, and Usman Yusupov was given a very specific task - in 45 days, a 270-kilometer-long canal should provide water to the cotton fields.
