Your favorite movie podcast is stepping out of the studio and into the big city lights for a very special engagement at Town Hall. Join hosts Griffin Newman, David Sims, and a chorus line of special guests for Blank Check's BIGGEST SHOW EVER. You can expect a playbill full of silly bits for the podcasts NINE YEAR ANNIVERSARY - and perhaps even a song and/or dance (if we can convince David). You don't want to miss this one, folks.

Podcasters, cinephiles, and freaks - rejoice! Blank Check will be returning to Town Hall this summer to commemorate their 10th Anniversary with a long-promised tribute to one of the greatest films in cinema history. To honor their “Decade of Dreams,” hosts Griffin Newman and David Sims cordially invite you to a royal audience with KING RALPH, the 1991 John Goodman / Peter O’Toole comedy that dared to ask, “What if there was a King Ralph?” It will be an evening of reflection, analysis, elaborately produced and adequately-executed royalty-themed bits, and an entire court of special guests. God save our gracious podcast!

The film follows an ensemble of colorful characters at a restaurant who experience an eventful night while a waitress's shift goes from bad to worse.

Blank Check with Griffin & David is a podcast about filmographies; specifically those of Hollywood directors who achieved great success early on & thus were given a series of "blank checks" to make whatever crazy passion projects they wanted. As hosts Griffin Newman & David Sims say every episode: sometimes those checks clear & sometimes they bounce! Join Blank Check for a special live episode taping, coinciding w/ their current mini-series covering the work of Martin Scorsese.
