Yulduz Rajabova (born January 24, 1987, in Navoi, Uzbekistan) is an Uzbek and Turkish film and theater actress known for her powerful performances in historical dramas, television series, and contemporary cinema. After graduating from the Uzbekistan State Institute of Arts and Culture, Rajabova began her artistic career at the institute’s theater and later became an actress at the Diydor Theater Studio. Her theatrical background helped her develop a strong stage presence and emotional depth that became a defining part of her screen performances. Rajabova gained recognition through roles in Uzbek films and television projects, including Turist (2013), Oyqiz ertagi (2016), Virus (2016), Maqsad (2018), Scorpion (2018), Yolg‘on girdobi (2018), and Baron 2. Her breakthrough came with the historical drama Faridaning ikki ming qo‘shig‘i (2000 Songs of Farida, 2020), where she played one of the leading roles. The film was selected as Uzbekistan’s submission for the Academy Awards and brought international attention to her work. She achieved further popularity with her role as Qutlibeka in the historical television series Mendirman Jaloliddin (2021), expanding her recognition among audiences in Uzbekistan and other Turkish-speaking regions. She later appeared in the internationally known Turkish historical series Kuruluş Osman (2024). Known for portraying strong and emotionally complex characters, Yulduz Rajabova has become one of the prominent actresses of modern Uzbek cinema, representing a new generation of performers connecting national cinema with international productions.
