In England, the American pathologist Dr. Richard Murray still grieves the death of his wife Carol eight months ago in a car crash. He is drinking too much whiskey due to his guilty complex since he had a love affair with a woman when Carol left home, and he has frequent blackouts, forgetting what he has done in the previous drinking night. Meanwhile a serial-killer is attacking women in the location, and the experienced American cop DCI Collins and the psychologist Frances Beale are invited to help the local police in the investigations. When Dr. Murray receives messages from beyond, he meets his friend Father Randall seeking spiritual support and explanation.

After his best friend dies, Charlie hits the road and stumbles into Lighthouse Hill, a village where residents seem to know a lot more about him than they should.

The tragic story of Joe, a Police Sargeant in London who falls for Carmen a feisty gypsy girl who is the victim of a eastern European gang of sex traffickers. Joe rescues her from her horrific entrapment and begins to love her like no man has before.

Alex is a television station intern and ambitious to further his career when he scoops an interview with the shock-video artists Jon & Marta Henley. It seems like the break he's been hoping for until the couple entices him into their lurid world of violence, deception, and sexual game-playing. Alex's pursuit of success turns into a desperate attempt to clear his name and save the life of his fiancee by exposing the Henley's controversial methods.
