Polish actor, screenwriter and director, co-creator (together with Janusz Weiss and Jacek Kleyff ) of the cabaret group Salon Niezależnych. He received a diploma at the Faculty of Architecture of the Warsaw University of Technology in 1974, and in 1979 he graduated from the Directing Department of the Polish National Film School in Łódź . In the 1970s, he co-founded the Independent Salon cabaret. Then he mainly took up film activities. He is known mainly for roles in such films as Man of Marble and Wodzirej .

One day, he watches a TV interview with a department store employee who smelled gas leaking and prevented a tragedy in time. This gives him an idea. With the support of his journalist friend Lutek Danielak, he begins to organize a series of meetings with the "hero of the year" across the country. He hopes that this will help him make a comeback in the industry. The meetings gain momentum. Lutek accepts the offer to host the final "Miss Polonia" contest.

The magma of sounds appears against a background of blackness that lasts for more than a minute on the screen. We then observe a series of images ripped from the television set. Out of the chaos emerges information about the Highland Academy, which has resumed its activities. The theme of the session will be measuring the world. The bicentennial of the first balloon flight will also be celebrated, with the Montgolfier brothers as guests of honor.
