ක්‍රිකට් සාදු (Cricket Sadu) is a 2026 Sinhala drama directed by Dilshara Jayamanna, starring Priyantha Sirikumara, Dinakshie Priyasad, and Damithu Fernando. It is a heartwarming story that follows a gifted young boy named Nuwan and a compassionate young monk as they navigate childhood, faith, and the social pressures of playing cricket.

Sahan and Nayomi are a devoted married couple who deeply care for each other. However, after a few years of marriage, their lives begin to change as they face a complex situation.

Nirwan Senanayake, nicknamed as Nawariyan, is a thug: a crime don in Colombo. Given that his father had wished him to be a medical doctor, he creates the faux Senanayake Hospital and pretends to live in accordance with this wish whenever his father and mother visit him in Colombo.

Dedunu Akase is a 2017 Sri Lankan Sinhala romantic film directed by Priyantha Colombage and produced by EAP Network Swarnavahini Production. It stars Hemal Ranasinghe in the lead role, along with newcomers Chulakshi Ranatunga and Shanel Fernando, both professional models. The music was composed by Chitral Somapala. It is the 1288th Sri Lankan film in the Sinhala cinema. Supporting actor Dasun Nishan committed suicide on 27 September 2017, prior to the screening of the film.[8][9] The muhurath ceremony was held at Galadari Hotel, Colombo.[10] The film has received both positive and negative reviews from critics.[11]

The film centered around the story behind national patriot Veera Puran Appu and his Matale rebellion in 1848 for the freedom from British. Though he was executed by the British by firing squad, his influence to the country's independence has been highly praised and thus Puran Appu is highlighted as a national hero of the Sri Lankan history.

Samindha falls helplessly, selflessly in love with Sancharani, a local girl who passes through the village daily. Expecting nothing in return, he seeks only to bring her moments of joy from afar.
