A scrap dealer navigates memory and grief as he prepares for a funeral.

Up the hill, away from the coast, Alfie’s anger simmers at his cousin Rody; his mum’s physical health slowly deteriorating but Rody seemingly distant and unreachable. Months later, Rachel gone, the two grieving cousins tentatively reconnect.

Told in the Cornish language and set in a Cornwall that is urbanised, deprived, and struggling, An Tarrow follows young Peder as he seeks out characters from local folklore to take him away from the violence of his home life.
