An Iraqi actress, singer, writer and program presenter, born in Karbala. Although she started her artistic career at the Institute of Music Studies in the early eighties in addition to obtaining a master's degree, she chose acting in the end. She joined the Academy of Fine Arts. Her debut was through the play The Net and the Whale. Among her other plays are: My Beautiful Lady, Desdemona of Iraq, and Nora and the Magician. Among her films: The Lover, Six by Six, and A Glimpse of Power.
